Centre for Whole Health in September!

Well, what a year! And we are still here, and getting ready for September. Welcoming back some of our long-standing therapists, saying goodbye to others, whilst at the same time introducing some new faces.
Shauna Hope is offering counselling, both from the CWH and in Nature!
Alice Parham offers the powerful stillness and energy of Reiki, with special discounts for NHS workers.
Courtyard Osteopaths have been busy during the latter part of lockdown, as have the Bristol Acupuncture Practice. Between them they are helping to re-align our bodies, sooth out the cranial rhythms, and keep the flow of our energy clear, all of which are affected by stress.
But it might be that, lack of everyday touch, like a hug from a friend, has left you feeling out of sorts, in which case you might appreciate the soothing calm touch of Reiki. Or maybe you just need a safe person to talk to after being cooped up on your own or just with one or two others, counselling offers just that.
As the world continues to open up, we hope to be welcoming more therapists and more therapies, and to be able to run more classes such as Pilates, Yoga, and Mediation, or Mindfulness Practice.
So, watch this space!

Coronavirus – update

It is with regret that we have decided to close the CWH clinic as from Wednesday 25th March. This will continue while the coronavirus is still with us and until government states it is safe to re-open. We know that as yet not all clinics and facilities have closed but with increasing numbers of people cancelling appointments and some therapists closing their practices it seemed the ethical and pragmatic action to take.
We wish you all well and hope that you and your families stay safe. We hope to see you again in the not too distant future.
In the meantime PLEASE CHECK THIS PAGE FOR FURTHER INFORMATION AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE.

Coronavirus

The issues arising due to the covid-19 situation require difficult decisions to be made. The Centre for Whole Health intends to stay open for as long as it possibly can.
All the time that receptionists, therapists and hall users wish to continue serving the community – and remain free from symptoms of the virus – we feel that closing the Centre or cancelling courses would be premature.
We therefore request that all visitors take the utmost care in following the guidelines concerning washing hands and self-isolation. In particular, we request that they do not visit the Centre if they exhibit any of the coronavirus symptoms.
The situation is reviewed from time-to-time, so please refer back to this page regularly. You can also check with reception on 0117 9231138 or info@centreforwholehealth.org.
The Centre wishes everyone the best of health and the resilience to overcome the difficulties posed by this outbreak.

New Website

The Centre for Whole Health now has a new website! We have had the same website layout for nearly 10 years. It is updated and reformatted – and hopefully faster!
Note also that the website address has changed. It is now at centreforwholehealth.org.
We have plans to incorporate online booking, initially for therapists and hall users and then for clients and other users.
If you notice any errors or have any suggestions, please contact manager@centreforwholehealth.org.
