Gail Lambourne – Kinesiology and Reiki
Kinesiology is a system of natural health care that stems from both chiropractic and Chinese medicine, incorporating some of the principles of naturopathy. The aim is to care for the body as a whole and to bring about balance in the body by releasing energy blocks assisting the body to eliminate toxins, reducing tension and enhancing the body’s natural healing abilities. Kinesiology is a very gentle and relaxing therapy that uses muscle response to indicate which particular issue or condition needs attention first and which approach would be the most effective. It can be particularly powerful where there are a range of apparently unconnected symptoms.
Kinesiology uses a range of therapies and healing modalities to restore balance and so bring about a feeling of health and well-being. Kinesiology can ease the symptoms of a wide range of problems such as digestive problems including IBS, tiredness and lack of energy, chronic fatigue, Candida (yeast infections), hormonal imbalances as well as testing for food sensitivities. Anyone, of any age, can benefit from kinesiology – even people who cannot be tested directly, such as babies, can be tested through a surrogate

Reiki is a simple, safe, gentle, hands-on energy that when used as a healing technique can help to reduce stress, support relaxation and encourage healing. It uses spiritual energy, rather than, for example, massage or manipulation, to bring about a sense of balance and harmony. When given, Reiki goes to wherever it may be needed, whether at a physical, emotional or spiritual level. In this way, Reiki may also help to raise the personal and spiritual awareness of the person receiving it.
During the Reiki session you will be asked to lie down on a couch and will remain fully clothed. Anyone, however, can benefit from Reiki so if a person is unable to get up on the couch, Reiki can also be given while sitting.
