Paul Jackson – Osteopath and Cranial Osteopath

Paul Jackson BSc (Hons) Ost. GOsC Registered.

I qualified as an osteopath in 1999 after studying at the European School of Osteopathy in Kent. The  full time BSc Honours degree is  recognised  internationally as one of the best qualifications available.

I have now moved back to my home town Bristol and established client bases in two of Bristol’s largest and longest established centres for complementary medicine;
The Natural Health Clinic in Cotham (Established 1981)

Centre for Whole Health in Bedminster (Established 1988)

I enjoy treating patients of varying health conditions and ages (new-borns to the elderly). I use both structural and cranial osteopathic approaches, including the subtle osteopathic manipulation of the internal organs. Lower back, neck and shoulder pain are commonly treated in every day practice. I have a special interest in providing care during pregnancy, treating babies and childhood ailments.

I am dedicated to continually develop my own skills and stay up-to-date with the latest advances within my profession.

My aim is to work closely with other health care professionals such as GP’s, midwives and health visitors to bring the benefits of osteopathic medicine to more and more people with all types of conditions.

I am committed to providing the best possible osteopathic care to the whole of my community.

Winner of the Prince of Wales Award

The Prince’s Foundation for Integrated Health

The best-integrated health practice within the UK

Between  2004 and 2009 I worked for the Complementary Health Clinic at the Wellspring Healthy Living Centre in Bristol, England. I was thrilled that HRH The Prince of Wales visited the Centre to present the Foundations Award for Good Practice in Integrated Health Care to our team of practitioners on Friday 20th January 2006, and was delighted to be recognised with such a prestigious award. The centre is currently leading and shaping the future for the National Health Service integrated health care within the UK, delivering osteopathy through local GP referral.

Working with the University of Bristol

To help increase the awareness of the benefits of osteopathic medicine I have offered placements to second and third year medical students from Bristol University since 2006 within my practice.

Students have the opportunity to observe my treatments.

Interview my patients and me regarding all aspects of osteopathy and practice.

Each receives an osteopathic treatment.
Working together with other health care professionals such as GP’s, midwives and health visitors the benefits of osteopathic medicine can be brought to more and more people with all types of conditions.
